LILIES
|
Lilies (Lilium) are not to be confused with Daylilies (Hemerocallis). Lilies grow from a bulb to form a tall sturdy straight stem with flower buds that form toward the top of the stalk. The blooms will open and last for many days and there are numerous varieties that are fragrant. Lilies are a wonderful companion plant in the perennial border and they take up very little room and generally bloom at a time which will showcase their beauty. |
